CINEMATOGRAPHY

I binged the new season of The Rings of Power within 2 days and it's kind of become my new hyperfixation I can't lie. It's still persisting even as the month turns, but man. I really liked this. I hope they continue going in this direction, all in all I thought the various storylines were a lot more cohesive this season. I still dislike Gandalf/the Harfoots' story, but I finally came around to pretty much all of the other plot threads. Galadriel/the elves and Sauron will obviously remain a highlight, but man, I've also really taken a huge liking to Míriel, Isildur and Elendil's stories this season.

I also finally finished My Lady Jane and it was ... fine. I wouldn't mind a season 2 but also I ... kind of get why it was cancelled tbh, even though I surmise it's more so the unpopular opinion. Ngl I was really taken aback when GRRM mentioned he really liked the show. But I think it ended on an okay note.
