Bout of Books 9.0

Okay, so I know I'm a little late to the party, but better late than never, right? I thought so too, so here's my post, which I will update daily, when the day draws to a close. What is Bout of Books? Click here, and you'll get the info.

GOALS

• Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor (re-read)
• Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor (re-read)
Control by Lydia Kang
• Defy by Sara B. Larson
• The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness

PROGRESS

MONDAY
Number of pages: 731
Books: 2
Although, I have to admit that I didn't read everything of the two books, because I skipped some scenes that I wasn't interested in and skimmed some, since they were re-reads for me, so... I don't know, If I had to, I'd probably say I read something around 600 pages. Also, I had already read 200 pages of the first one yesterday, so I subtracted them from this count. Oh yeah as to what I read, I finished Daughter of Smoke & Bone, and read Days of Blood & Starlight, both by Laini Taylor. Hopefully, I can start Control tomorrow.

TUESDAY
Number of pages: 179
Books: 1
Started reading and finished The Giver today. My copy of Control didn't come in the mail today, so I couldn't start with that one yet... sadly. But, it should definitely be in the mail tomorrow, so I'm hoping to finalyl get it done that day.

WEDNESDAY
Number of pages: 319
Books: 1
Started Control today, FINALLY. It's crazy good so far, I wish I had time to finish it right now but... School and homework and it's already late.

THURSDAY
Number of pages: 127
Books: 2
Finished Control and started Defy today.

FRIDAY
Number of pages: 309
Books: 1
Finished Defy.

SATURDAY
Number of pages: 93
Books: 1
Started A Face Like Glass by Frances Hardinge.

SUNDAY
Number of pages: 23
Books: 1
Uhm yeah... wasn't really in a reading mood today. :S

END RESULT
Total number of pages: 1781
Books read: 4 1/2

I read four full books (more or less), two of them re-reads, and managed to meet all my goals except for one book, The Knife of Never Letting Go, which I switched for A Face Like Glass by Frances Hardinge and I got... close to being halfway through with that one. All in all, I think almost 1800, which is almost 2000 pages (Cheating?! I'm not cheating here!), that's pretty satisfactory. I mean, yeah, it could have been better, but I'm content. Admittedly, I could have gone at it with a little more enthusiasm, especially on the weekend, but what the hey.

    1. Thanks :) I did read most of the day and into the night though, since I had some time to kill, I'm sure I won't be able to keep it up. xD I hope you're getting nicely along as well. ^_^
