October Wrap-Up / November TBR

Another month has passed again, and I am very pleased with my results, since it has been a splendid reading month! Of course, I had lots of time since I was in bed with the flu over the whole holidays and basically spent the whole day reading. But well, let's see what I have achieved.

Let's check the TBR list I set for the month first:

— Allegiant by Veronica Roth ✓
Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken ✓
The House of Hades by Rick Riordan ✓
— Wild Cards by Simone Elkeles ✓
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell ✓
The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting ✓

I am delighted to see that I have managed to get all of it done, and review all except two of them, although I did say a few words about Allegiant on goodreads, if you want to check it out. But I have read even more than what I have set for myself, in fact, 22 in all, including the following:

Hex Hall (#1) by Rachel Hawkins
Demonglass (#2) by Rachel Hawkins
— Spell Bound (#3) by Rachel Hawkins
The Goddess Test by Aimée Carter
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Frozen by Melissa de la Cruz & Michael Johnston
Something Strange & Deadly by Susan Dennard
Perfect Ruin by Lauren DeStefano
Spellbound by Cara Lynn Shultz
Phoenix by Elizabeth Richards
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
Infinityglass by Myra McEntire
Carnival of Souls by Melissa Marr
— Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (#1) by JK Rowling
— Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (#2) by JK Rowling
— Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (#3) by JK Rowling

So... that's it. Honestly, when I look at others' wrap-ups and see they read about 8 books, I'm always astounded by how I actually manage to read so much. True, it's often that I spend almost the whole day reading, but still... Well, no matter.

And yes, this is the very first time I am reading the Harry Potter series. I am not re-reading or anything. And so far, I am enjoying the books immensely, I can only recommend them to everyone, they're amazing. They definitely deserve all the hype they get — I mean, I have seen all of the movies, but the books are so much better! I have been reading the book and watching the movie straightaway after finishing, in fact, and I am seriously on a Harry Potter high right now... it's awesome.

However, onto my November TBR! I have a lot of exams coming up again this month, which is probably why I'm not going to able to read quite as much as in October this month, but I'm still hoping to get a decent amount of reading done. ^_^ So let's see what's on the list...

— Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (#4) by JK Rowling, which I have already finished to be honest
— Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (#5) by JK Rowling, which I have almost finished (I'm on page 800-something out of 900-something)
— Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (#6) by JK Rowling
— Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (#7) by JK Rowling
— The Program by Suzanne Young, which I have already started but has been overshadowed by Harry Potter thus far
— The Iron Traitor by Julie Kagawa, which I have been neglecting terribly so far
— World After by Susan Ee
— The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead

So, that's plenty, I think. Especially since #6 and #7 of Harry Potter are also quite large. Not as large as the fifth, mind you, but I'm still gonna be at them for a couple of days, I think. I hope, after finishing the Harry Potter series, I'm still going to have time to squeeze in all of the others, though... I'm especially hoping to be done by the time World After and The Fiery Heart come out, so I'll be ready, although I think I'll be done by then. Surely it's not going to be a problem, considering the rate at which I have been speeding through these. xD

Love <3
