CINEMATOGRAPHY

Finally watched the much hyped Baby Reindeer, and it was certainly ... something. I'm not sure yet I agree that it was as great as everyone kept glazing it to be, but it was still good for sure. The juxtaposition of the truly awful things happening together with the comedic aspects sometimes really worked for me and others absolutely not, however, I do think the latter cases were mostly intentional, so I'm still a bit unsure what to think.
Then, I watched Dear Child. The first half of episodes were really good and set up the mystery insanely well, however the delivery upon those expectations fell very flat. The plot twists ended up extremely unsatisfying and some arcs were left vastly underexplored which just didn't work especially not with the very open ending.
